Research Scientist - Immunology (#0811F)

The UNDRF is seeking a research scientist that has a Ph.D. in Immunology, or a related Biological Science, with demonstrated research experience in immunology and/or immunotherapy-based research. Technical expertise should include host immunological responses; development and assessment therapeutic antibodies; and significant experience with in vitro and in vivo models. The candidate is required to interact with others and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Detailed:
Applicants must possess the following requirements: Ph.D. in Immunology, or a related Biological Science; an outstanding research experience in immunology or immuotherapy-based research as evidenced by a distinguished record of high-impact publications and/or a significant record of creativity and accomplishment as demonstrated by discovery of novel biological pathways or agents for virus-host immune responses. The Applicant must have expertise of immunological-based assays for pathogens, preferably viruses, used in developing and assessing therapeutic antibodies and vaccines in vitro and in vivo models of acute viral infection; immunization optimization; antibody purification; diagnostic based immunological protocols; and molecular analysis of epitope mapping. The candidate must be able to multi-task and interact with others in experimental design and data interpretation; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and experience supervising others is desirable.
